I was a little worried I might not be able to swing this as part of the challenge, but after looking at the menu plan and what I'd need to buy I realized I already had 90% of it in the pantry or the stockpile.

Turkey breast -- will buy this
stuffing -- on hand
gravy -- from turkey drippings, have flour on hand
blueberry pie -- have frozen berries in stockpile, pastry items on hand
dinner rolls -- breadmaking items on hand
cranberry salad --...

This entry to to try to connect with the possible three other people on the planet who also adore linen sheets.

I have a passion for anything linen. I love fine textiles and linen clothing.

I love linen sheets, made from flax. Modern people confuse the use of the word "linen" for any bed sheet, which bugs me. Flax Linen, before the 1800's cotton revolution, used to be the fabric of choice. It was ungodly expensive and still is, but one thing to remember is...

I knew a lady who went to the butchers and bought a side of beef, all cut up, every year when she got her tax refund. It gave her meat for the whole year for her family, and the price per pound was amazingly low! She kept them fed well on steaks and chops at less than ground beef price!
